Freestyle Competition Gingerbread House Entry (Kids)

Entry to the freestyle category of Safe in Sussex’s Gingerbread House Competition 2022.

Let your kid’s imagination go wild in this category where they get to design and build their very own gingerbread house. The only rule is there are no rules!

It can be whatever they want it to be. It doesn’t even have to be a house, it can be a car, boat, plane, castle or crown. It can even have lights and moving parts.

Ther bottom line is we want to see as much creativity as possible.

Our freestyle competition gingerbread house category is a chance for your child to really get creative. They’ll be able to build literally whatever they want out of gingerbread (with your help of course!).

And if there’s one thing we know kids are good at it’s getting creative!

Inspiration is everywhere and there are loads of ideas out there if you just look around you. If you need a decent gingerbread recipe try out our signature gingerbread recipe which is perfect for building and construction. Plus, it tastes pretty good too. Check out our tutorials page for hints and tips on how to construct and decorate your gingerbread house.
