Business Freestyle Gingerbread Competition Entry

Entry to the business freestyle category of Safe in Sussex’s Gingerbread House Competition 2022.

Let your imagination go wild in this category where you get to design and build your very own gingerbread creation. The only rule is there are no rules!

It can be whatever you want it to be. It doesn’t even have to be a house, it can be a car, boat, plane, castle or crown. It can even have lights and moving parts.

The bottom line is we want to see as much creativity as possible.

As a business, your entry entitles you not only the chance ot show off your amazing gingerbreading skills but your company name and logo will be included regularly across media both for Safe in Sussex and Gingerbread World.

 

 

  

Our business freestyle gingerbread competition category is a chance for you and your employees to really shine. You’ll be able to create literally whatever you want out of gingerbread. Go big, go bold, go broke.

Think outside the box and try your hand at something gravity defying, something moving or something iconic. Brighton Pavilion or Buckingham Palace anyone?! Or, get inspire by the business in which you work – could it be something you do, the offices you’re in or a product you make?

The nitty grittty

  • The competition takes place on December 8 at St Oscar Romeros School, Goring St, Goring-by-Sea, Worthing BN12 5AF from 5-8pm
  • The design can be whatever you wish it to be, you’re not limited to creating a house
  • You must bake and design a gingerbread creation from scratch. Pre-baked kits either from Gingerbread World or another supplier are not acceptable
  • Edible mediums must be used for at least 75% of the decoration
  • Competition entries will need to be taken home on the same day or gifted to the charity.
  • Prizes are not transferable and no cash alternative can be given.
